Trainer/Coach for YoungStrong interactive youth training programme

Would you like to invest in young people’s lives? Do you also believe that young people can be positive role models in their own communities? Solidair Friesland is looking for volunteers to act as trainers/coaches for the YoungStrong programme.

As a volunteer, you’ll be the enthusiastic trainer who guides young people through the YoungStrong programme in an interactive way. Over the course of eight sessions, we focus on these young leaders, who receive training in their personal, social and talent development. As a volunteer, you play a crucial role in this process. To round off the YoungStrong programme, the young people, working in pairs, organise a community activity in their own local area.

Together, we are building a society based on solidarity in Friesland.

What do we ask of you?

- You’re aged 25 or over and have an affinity with this target group.
- You have experience of leading a group and delivering an interactive programme with a group.
- Your impression of this target group.
- You’re sure-footed and flexible.
- You are able to attend all 8 sessions (approximately 2 hours 15 minutes each),
including preparation of the programme. (day and time to be agreed)
