Volunteers wanted for summer programme!
Ahead of the summer holidays, Solidair Friesland and the COA are organising the summer programme for those currently staying at the emergency accommodation centres in the municipality of Leeuwarden. There are currently four Ukrainian emergency accommodation centres and two COA emergency accommodation centres. At all
locations many children and young people stay there. For this, we are looking for volunteers to help guide and organise activities.
We offer a variety of workshops of sports, arts, culture and creativity in the summer programme. Activities for youngsters fall on Tuesday afternoons and evenings. Activities for children fall on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. We keep a small group size each time, to allow personal contact and relationship building with the teenagers and youngsters.
This year, residents can also volunteer and help with the summer programme. You will work with different cultures and meet many new people.
You can choose from helping with the workshops for teenagers, adolescents and/or children.
