Are you socially engaged? Would you like to gain experience as a board member and help shape the direction of our organisation? Then this is your chance! Humanitas Leeuwarden is looking for prospective board members who want to work for a society where people are there for each other.

Become an aspiring board member at Humanitas Leeuwarden!

• As an aspiring board member:
• Help you design, implement and evaluate local activities;
• Do you contribute to PR, communications, fundraising or volunteer recruitment;
• Think about the strategy and direction of our department;
• Develop your managerial skills;
• After a year, you are a regular board member with your own portfolio;

• A meaningful role in an engaged and innovative administration;
• Education and training through the Humanitas Academy;
• Guidance from other board members;
• An active department with enthusiastic volunteers.
   

• You have a heart for the issues we work on: loneliness, parenting, loss, detention and poverty and debt;
• You are sociable, communicative and organisationally strong;
• You are available for one half-day a week;
• You intend to commit to the board for several years.
