Description

As a switchboard operator/telephone operator, you are not only responsible for answering questions from the public, considering what kind of help we can offer people or whether another organisation is closer or better equipped to help people. But also for directing the ambulance team to the scene and/or relaying up-to-date information during rides. Also, you will be the face of the ambulance if people come into the office for issues related to their pets, among others. At the moment, we are only looking for volunteers for evenings and nights.

You will work in a team with other enthusiastic volunteers who together ensure that the animals can be helped in the right way


What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?

Love of animals and dealing with people, social disposition. We are looking for a volunteer who has experience in switchboard work or is eager to make it their own. Volunteers are sought for evenings and nights. A shift is from 4pm to 11pm and from 11pm to 9am. Evening night and Sunday shifts are from home.
