Collectors for Amnesty International (Leeuwarden area)
Description
Amnesty is always looking for people who want to help with the collection in their town or village. Every year in March, thousands of collectors take to the streets to raise money for Amnesty. Can you help?
Amnesty welcomes every hour you spend collecting. Some people visit houses for a few evenings, others for a few hours during the day. You can decide for yourself when and how long you want to collect. Every little bit helps. When you sign up, the collection coordinator in your neighbourhood will contact you. Together, you will discuss how the collection is done.
The collection week takes place every year in March.
You can sign up once, but are welcome to help out again the following year!
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
Want to collect together with someone? You can! Many people find it cosier to walk together with a family member, neighbour or friend. You can discuss your wishes with your coordinator.
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
With your coordinator, you agree in which streets you will collect. This can be in your own state, but if you prefer to collect in another neighbourhood, that's fine too.
