Amnesty campaigns for the universal rights of every human being, regardless of what group a person belongs to, religion or political affiliation. Human rights can never be taken for granted. In many countries, people are imprisoned for standing up for human rights. Amnesty International has been fighting for their release for more than 75 years. A letter is a support for the prisoner anyway and sometimes someone is released.
