Neighbourhood or village collection coordinator for Amnesty International Leeuwarden
Description
Coordinate the collection in the Leeuwarden South or Camminghaburen neighbourhood or in the village of Weidum or Stiens.
These districts and villages do not have a coordinator and do have collectors, who cannot collect now. Will you help them?
Collection coordinators are the hub of the collection. As coordinator, you organise the collection week in your place of residence. As coordinator, you are responsible for the collection in your collection area. You will be given access to our online collection community. Some computer skills are desirable.
Your duties are:
- Point of contact for the collectors in your collection area.
- Division of work of any district heads.
- Planning and walking routes of the collectors.
- Ordering all necessary materials.
- Handing out collection boxes and other supplies.
- Taking the collection boxes.
- Counting proceeds per collector.
- Depositing the total proceeds with the bank.
- Taking care of related administration.
From January, you start the administration by signing up the collectors and ordering the items and coordinating who runs which route. At the end of February, you hand out the collection boxes (collectors collect or you bring).
You are not alone! We have experienced coordinators who can help you on your way.
Collections are an indispensable source of income for Amnesty. We are impartial and independent. To guarantee this independence, we do not accept money from the government or from political and religious groups for our actions and research.
This is why both the collection and the coordinators are so important.
