Coordinator of the Humaantjes buddy project

Would you like to make a difference for people who need a buddy? Are you interested in mentoring volunteers? Do you get energy from meeting all kinds of different people? Then we are looking for you!

What is Humaantjes?

At Humaantjes, we offer temporary support to people who need a buddy. We start with an extensive introductory interview to clarify the participant's needs. This is followed by a match with a volunteer who suits the participant and his or her needs and interests.  The volunteer offers the participant a listening ear. Often, the participant and volunteer also undertake relaxing activities together or look for opportunities for (new) meaningful contacts and interesting activities. The participant's needs are always central. 

What will you do?

• You conduct introductory interviews with people who need a buddy.
• You ensure a good match between the volunteer and participant. 
• You are the point of contact for volunteers.
• You contribute ideas to the development of Humaantjes 

• Engaging and meaningful voluntary work
• Appropriate training and guidance 
• A dedicated team of coordinators and volunteers 

• You have good communication skills and a sense of humour. 
• You get energy from meeting all kinds of different people. 
• You are independent, proactive and flexible.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are available for an average of one to two half-days per week.
