Will you go to the church service with me?
Description
Once a month, we are looking for volunteers to accompany a client in a wheelchair to church services on Sunday afternoons. Because of the closeness they need, we ask you to also be present during the service (about an hour).
The church is within walking distance of grounds where the clients live.
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
If there is a good click from both sides, a VOG is applied for and a volunteer agreement is drawn up. You are insured while volunteering, receive a Christmas package from the organisation in December and receive the volunteer newsletter.
In addition, if applicable, you are entitled to a travel allowance.
Of course, you will first get to know each other and drop by for a cup of coffee so that you can get to know each other. In addition, you will receive the necessary guidance from the employees at the location and you will be trained by them.
