Successful Volunteer Festival

Some 400 visitors attended the Volunteer Festival on 10 October at De Harmonie Municipal Theatre. Visitors who wanted to learn more about volunteering in the municipality of Leeuwarden could meet some 70 organisations. Stallholders enthusiastically explained why it is so much fun to work as a volunteer. This year, for the first time, there was a Buddy Square and Culture Square. This was well received.

Upon leaving the Harmony, visitors could indicate what they thought of the market. Visitors rated the Volunteer Festival with an 8.6. We are proud of that!
