Aldlan neighbourhood centre

Information about this organisation

Aldlân community centre is a voluntary organisation run entirely by Aldlân residents. The board, the management, the bar volunteers and the organisers of the activities on offer are all local residents who volunteer their time and energy to provide their fellow residents with a place where they can meet, take part in activities, ask for help and much more. The community centre is open to everyone. There is therefore no membership.

Aldlân District Centre does not organise activities itself. All activities are organised by local residents or by people who have something to offer to the Aldlân neighbourhood. So any neighbourhood resident can organise an activity, course or whatever for young or old. One-off or regular, it doesn't matter. As long as everyone has the opportunity to take part. The community organisation has the facilities and takes care of publicity. The community centre therefore runs entirely on initiatives from the neighbourhood.

Consuming alcohol is not a matter of course at the community centre. The board assesses whether it is wise for each activity. An open walk-in is always without alcoholic drinks. Alcoholic drinks are served during activities such as bingo, klaverjas or bridge.
