Supervisor of children's activities

From Solidair Friesland, we provide various activities for the residents of Ukrainian emergency shelter locations. Within the municipality of Leeuwarden, there are four emergency shelter locations, where there is still a lot of new inflow. We offer activities for these people, including children's activities.

We offer the activities to provide a safe place on life in the emergency shelter. We naturally want to be able to offer the children this as often as possible, which is why we are looking for more volunteers!

Operations:

• Picking up and recruiting the target audience
• Keeping an overview during the activity
• Supervising during the activity
• Preparing the activity
• Write reports and have a signalling role in them

Activities can range from crafts, sports, games or, for example, supervising a play corner. In this, we look closely at what the children's needs are. We also look at the talents and skills of our volunteers!

You will receive guidance from the coordinator and can always turn to him if you run into something. Volunteer meetings will be organised, in which we evaluate, but also carry out assignments and exercises together. You will also receive a t-shirt from us, so that you are highly visible!

Reimbursement is negotiable.
