With major exhibitions and a lively public programme, we are looking for creators who will use their creativity to communicate the museum and create content. As a content creator, you will bring the museum to life on social media. You will capture moments in photos, reels and short videos, translate stories into catchy posts and web texts and make sure the content calendar is filled and executed. So you see your work reflected in what visitors experience online and in the museum.

Supervisor meeting group Expreszo (18 to 26 years)

COC Friesland organises meetings every last Friday evening of the month for Expreszo, the meeting group for LGBTQA+ young adults aged 18 to 26. During these evenings, we undertake all kinds of activities together: from game nights to creative workshops and from conversations to cultural trips. To make this possible, we are looking for an enthusiastic supervisor who enjoys thinking with the group, organising activities and creating a safe, sociable atmosphere. What will you do? You will supervise the monthly Expreszo meetings in Leeuwarden. You will think about the programme and organise suitable activities together with the group. You will ensure that the meetings are a safe and inclusive place for everyone. You work together with fellow supervisors and the coordinator of COC Friesland. What does COC Friesland offer you? A thorough induction programme in which you get to know the organisation, our culture and colleagues. Support and guidance from experienced volunteers. A network within the Frisian LGBTQA+ community. Travel and other expenses in consultation. What do we ask of you? You can act flexibly and respond ad hoc when needed. You have good communication skills, are eager to learn and know how to enthuse young people. You can work well with other volunteers and professionals. You are available for an average of 5 hours a month, especially on the last Friday evening of the month. Interested? Palliative terminal care volunteers Palliative terminal care is the care of people for whom no more curative treatment is possible and who are in the last months of life. In this phase, VPTZ volunteers offer support so that this last phase of life can be lived through in the best possible way. They offer time, attention and support. We are looking for volunteers for home support especially for waking at night. Tasks may include help with eating and drinking, freshening up and going to the toilet, but also to have a chat or read to the client.
