This year, we were delighted to organise various initiatives to show our appreciation for the efforts of volunteers on 7 December. Organisations ordered 1,800 thank-you cards from us to surprise their volunteers. In addition, a special full-page thank-you page was published in the Huis aan Huis Leeuwarden newspaper, where 74 organisations placed their names to thank their volunteers. The digital e-card, also available as a GIF, was also enthusiastically received. Organisations sent the e-card to their volunteers and shared it on their social media channels. It was great to see that, for example, The Skulp Friesland, Playing sports and Sunflower Leeuwarden East actively used this e-card to show their appreciation.

The advertisement, cards and e-cards were designed by Eline Trof, Communications intern at Amaryllis, where she works with the volunteer team, among others.
