Homework tutor and/or tutoring tutors
Description
As an RBC Homework Institute, we provide support to primary and secondary school children. This takes place between 13:30-18:00h. Sometimes they also receive support because of, for example, parental divorce or unpleasant events.
We are looking for people, former teachers and/or lecturers ( may also: retired) who can give homework help. This work is significant, you support young people, giving them a chance for a good future.
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
We offer you volunteering in a fun and informal team with people of all ages.
The work you do is meaningful. You help very young people/children. This support is for secondary school pupils and is often experienced - by the pupils themselves - as very valuable. Your working hours are always in consultation with our planning team; we will first agree with you when you are available. We work in a quality-conscious way and pay you a fee for your efforts.
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
Preferably experience in providing homework help. Having life wisdom, optimism, empathy, creativity.
