Complaint Choir

There are love songs, dance songs and party songs. But there are also lament songs. Full of stories of sadness, goodbye, loss and mourning. The women of the Lamentation Choir led by Jildou Talman sing them. Songs from different cultures, in various styles and languages.

We do this one- or multi-voice, and we learn the songs from text, so note-reading is not necessary. Choir experience is not a requirement, but tonal consistency is. We work towards a final presentation, but the emphasis is on enjoyment and fun during the weekly rehearsal evenings. The Complaint Choir, for women who love beautiful and good singing.
