Humanitas Home Administration

Humanitas Home Administration

Getting and keeping a grip on your money matters It can happen to anyone: you lose track of your money matters. For example, if your partner dies, you get divorced or you lose your job. Then you may fall behind with bills or lose track of things. Our volunteers help you get and keep your finances in order. In one go or regularly. Just as you need and until you can carry on by yourself. For example, we can explain a difficult letter from an authority or make an overview together of your income and expenses. We can give tips on how to get more income by using certain schemes. You can be supported by Humanitas Thuisadministratie in two ways:1. Through the walk-in consulting hours throughout Leeuwarden and2. Through help at home. Walk-in consulting hours Do you come to our (free) walk-in consulting hours? Then bring all your papers with you. This is possible without obligation and without appointment Would you prefer to come by appointment? Click here to sign up. Where can you find us? We will then match you with a Humanitas volunteer. This volunteer will work with you to regain an overview of your administration. Almost everyone feels helped after a short time and after a while people can usually continue on their own. And if you still want help every now and then or just want to get in touch, that is always possible.

The Practice House: a drop-in for people with mental and/or socio-emotional vulnerability

Ixta Noa offers walk-in facilities in Practice Houses and in regional municipalities. These drop-in facilities are a meeting place and accessible to anyone struggling with mental or socio-emotional vulnerability and to those around them. In our walk-in centres, coffee and tea are ready and served by experience expert volunteers and staff. At Ixta Noa, we work with expertise by experience: all our volunteers and staff have experienced a psychological 'adventure' themselves and are trained to support others from their own experience of vulnerability and recovery. Our working method focuses on creating a context in which everyone matters, everyone participates and everyone contributes to meaning and recovery. We organise various recovery support activities, such as theme meetings, creative activities and self-help or peer groups. We offer lunch in most Practice Houses, which someone can participate in when it suits someone's goals. There is also room for relaxation and connecting by having conversations and joining in activities such as game afternoons, walks, theme meetings or creative activities. At Ixta Noa, recognition and acknowledgement can be found through conversations with experts by experience and with other participants. This can help a participant gain insight into the recovery process and process what he or she has been through, and give it a place. When someone is ready, the volunteers work with him or her on the road to (further) recovery. A participant can walk in and try the atmosphere first, alone or together with someone from the network. If someone prefers to be expected, an appointment can also be made in advance. Our support is free of charge and no referral or indication is needed.
