Retaining and engaging volunteers

This workshop provides volunteer organisations with the appropriate tools in recruiting and retaining volunteers.
What it delivers

You learn how to 'rediscover' your own field of work, from the point of view of the (potential) volunteer. You will know your volunteers, what drives them and what they need to stay captivated. You will go home with the first draft of an action plan on how to recruit volunteers and commit them to you for a longer period of time. The workshop can help you regain a positive focus if previous experiences in working with volunteers have not met your expectations.

What to expect
The following topics are covered:

  • How to recruit volunteers
  • How to keep volunteers engaged and motivated for longer periods of time
  • What types of volunteers are there and which type of volunteer fits my volunteer vacancy
