Responsible serving of alcohol (IVA)

Bar volunteers must have followed an Instruction Responsible Alcohol Serving (IVA) according to the Alcohol Act. This can be done online and free of charge. The e-learning is available in Dutch and English.
Follow the free e-learning and get your free certificate! The texts and videos on the website will enable you to serve alcohol responsibly in the canteen, bar, clubhouse or at an event. Once you have seen and read the texts and videos, you will be able to take the test to become a qualified bar volunteer and be allowed to work bar shifts at times when alcohol is served.

With this free online course from the NOV, volunteers can obtain the IVA certificate for bar volunteers. Take the course, complete the test and you can download the IVA certificate immediately! Learn how to serve alcohol responsibly and start the course.
