Become a campsite manager and organise a Neighbourhood Camping in your neighbourhood
Every year, together with our Neighbourhood Makers, we transform parks throughout the Netherlands into cosy Neighbourhood Camps. For three days, the park turns into a vibrant meeting place, open to all people in the neighbourhood. Neighbours of all ages and backgrounds come together to get to know each other better and enjoy a holiday in their own park. It doesn't matter how old you are, where you come from or what kind of house you live in - everyone is welcome! Camping together creates a nice neighbourhood where you know, greet and help each other.
As a campsite manager, you make a difference in your neighbourhood. You bring people together, organise an unforgettable weekend, and make sure everything runs smoothly. Being a campsite manager requires dedication, flexibility and a love of organising. Of course, you don't do this alone: together with an enthusiastic team of three to five people from the neighbourhood, you work about two to four hours a week for six months. You get support with permits, funds and promotion, follow a (super fun) training via De Buurtcampus and receive a volunteer's allowance.
