Innez offers various forms of group counselling ( day care) for different target groups. Group counselling provides structure and a meaningful completion of the day for people who need support and experience little social interaction. It helps to engage in activities, create a healthy daily routine and increase self-reliance. In addition, group counselling can also relieve the burden on informal carers, which can help them to live independently for longer. It not only promotes social interaction, but also supports in building a healthy routine and strengthening self-reliance. For our Dagbesteding Meedoen Westend and Dagbesteding Meedoen en Ontmoeten Stiens, we are looking for drivers who want to pick up and bring visitors to and from the Dagbesteding. The visitors will be brought around 9.30 a.m. and brought home again around 3.30 p.m. The visitors live within a radius of 5 km around Leeuwarden and Stiens. Do you have an affinity with the elderly and do you enjoy driving? Then this is a great challenge! You indicate which day(s) you are available.

A language volunteer is sought for the language and culture support in dbieb in Stiens. We are looking for a volunteer for Wednesdays who can work with groups at starter level (A0) and advanced level (B1 and above). Language volunteers guide small groups during meetings where everyone is welcome with a learning question in the field of the Dutch language. These are mainly status holders/newcomers who come mainly to practice speaking Dutch together. The spoken language you need to succeed in integration, to participate and to be able to manage better independently in society. In addition, people have their own (learning) questions and topics, such as getting around on the phone, working with the computer, understanding mail/forms and knowing where to get help. Times are from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Working several days as a language support worker may also be possible in the future.

Myra, Quincy and Yara are looking for a language volunteer together, as they want to learn the Dutch language in a group format. Maya is looking for a language volunteer with whom she can also go for walks and learn the language. Unfortunately, we don't just pull out a can of language volunteers. At Fier, we think it's important for non-native clients to start learning Dutch as soon as possible. This is not always easy, but it is terribly important. The Vitushof in Leeuwaren is a cemetery with a long history. Originally the place where Catholic Leeuwarden buried its deceased. Nowadays it is a general cemetery. But it remains a special place in Leeuwarden. A park to find peace, commemorate and contemplate or just walk through and enjoy. Maintenance of the court is in the hands of a professional caretaker assisted by a small team of volunteers. The greenery in the park requires a lot of attention but the maintenance of the monuments is also an important task. The team ensures that the Vitushof is a worthy place of remembrance, a pleasant walking spot for local residents and an interesting place for those interested in Leeuwarden's history. The maintenance team could use reinforcement from an all-round colleague who can assist with greenery and monument maintenance. Work can take place by mutual agreement. Do you enjoy being outside in nature and are you a bit handy? Are you looking for a fun, healthy and interesting activity? As a Zonnebloem volunteer, together with over 33,000 other volunteers, you form the basis of our association. Together, you work towards one goal: giving people with a physical disability an unforgettable time. The Leeuwarden East division has 90 guests and 30 volunteers. The tasks include Together with the chairman, prepare the meetings and prepare/dispatch the agenda. Make a report of the meetings and send it. Monitoring action points. Handling mail (digitally). Arranging printing, placing advertisements and Zonnebloem articles. You ensure follow-up of working agreements and compliance with statutes, internal regulations and other agreements made within the association.
