Gourmets wanted for cooking activities with young people
Description
Salomonszegel 107 is a home for young people aged 12 and over, with mild intellectual disabilities. For them, we are looking for a gourmet who loves cooking and baking and enjoys cooking with one or more young people or baking a cake or pie. Conviviality and a relaxed atmosphere are paramount!
Are you sociable and can you empathise with the world of young people with mild intellectual disabilities? Then we would love to hear from you!
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
After the first meeting at the location, you have another cup of coffee or tea together and if there is a good click from both sides, a VOG is applied for and a volunteer agreement is drawn up. You will be insured during your voluntary work and will also receive a Christmas package, a small gift on Care Day and Volunteer Day. In addition, you will receive the volunteer newsletter and, if applicable, you will be entitled to a travel allowance.
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
Most important is the click that must exist between the volunteer and the young people. From both sides, the voluntary work must add value. In addition, you are reliable and keep appointments.
