Max Mobile transport

Don't have your own transport? Use the Max Mobile! A volunteer driver will take you to, for example, the hairdresser, GP, supermarket, hospital or an activity nearby. Do you use a collapsible rollator? That can just come along! The driver may be delayed en route (or just a bit earlier); take into account a time difference of ten minutes.

When does the Max Mobile run?
The Max Mobile runs Monday to Thursday between 9am and 5pm.

Where does the Max Mobile drive?
The Max Mobile operates in the city of Leeuwarden, not in the villages of the municipality of Leeuwarden. Due to the range in terms of kilometres, we have had to decide not to drive in: Westeinde, Bilgaard & Havankpark, Camminghaburen, Middelsee, Goutum, Hempens/Teerns & Zuiderburen, De Zuidlanden. 

Cost
A single ride costs €1. Payment can only be made in cash.

Reserving a ride
Book via 06 22 12 69 69, available Monday to Thursday between 09:30 and 12:00. Request your ride at least one day in advance (same-day bookings are not possible). Or earlier, of course! You cannot request a ride by leaving a voicemail. Due to unexpected circumstances, a (reserved) ride may not be available.

About the Max Mobile
The Max Mobiel is a two-seater electric trolley. People who do not have their own transport can take short trips in Leeuwarden with the Max Mobile. For example, for a visit to the hairdresser, GP, supermarket, hospital or an activity in the neighbourhood. There are two Max Mobile cars in Leeuwarden, from Amaryllis and Noorderbreedte.
