Frisian Environment Federation

For 50 years, the Frisian Environment Federation (FMF) has been working towards a beautiful and sustainable Fryslân: a rich biodiversity, a beautiful landscape and a healthy living environment for people, plants and animals. We put our heart and soul into the sustainable development of the province. This is our mission and we want to continue working hard on it in the coming years.

As a network organisation, we build bridges between our member organisations, Frisian governments, businesses and Frisian citizens. In total, we represent more than 40 member organisations and, through them, more than 95,000 Frisians. With feet in the Frisian society and with a nationwide network of Natuur en Milieufederaties, we can create local and national impact. This is necessary, because for climate, biodiversity and environmental quality it is all hands on deck.
