LF2028
For a hundred days, a different part of Leeuwarden's city centre will turn green again and again. In fact, more than a thousand large and small trees walk through the city. This 'walking' forest gives trees - and thus nature - a voice: what can we learn from trees and how does the forest look at the human world? Everything happens in the walking forest; it is always in motion. Residents, companies and (inter)national artists contribute to it. In this way, the forest plays with your senses and, thanks to the efforts of hundreds of volunteers, creates a new root network of connection.
Bosk, by the way, is more than an impressive moving art installation. It is an art project that, with a packed programme of performances and exhibitions, draws attention to the need to look differently at the relationship between man and nature. From a summer school for Leeuwarder neighbourhoods, a Bosk journal for primary school students and a Whispering Garden full of inspiration, to a dazzling percussion show and dance performances that will blow your socks off.
