Museumhouse Van Eysinga by Hendrick de Keyser Monuments

Information about this organisation

Hendrick de Keyser Monuments has been committed to preserving architecturally or historically valuable monuments; buildings and their interiors since 1918. Once acquired, properties remain in ownership forever.

Based on this mission, 'Hendrick de Keyser' carefully preserves these special buildings for now and future generations. Hendrick de Keyser considers it important that the public can learn about the national residential history by visiting the houses and living, working and staying in them.

Come in and discover our museum houses

Since 2018, a number of Hendrick de Keyser Monuments' special houses have been given a museum function. In these museum houses, you can walk around freely and touch all kinds of things. Above all, feel at home! Feel free to peek into the cupboards, and discover the secret passages in House Van Eysinga. Join us in the impressive kitchen of Bartolotti House for tea and freshly baked biscuits. And have you ever taken a nap in a real box bed? It's all possible in Hendrick's houses! Listen to the audio tour about the architecture, history and residents while you wander through the corridors or look out over the garden. And don't forget to bring your (grand)children. They can discover the house while exploring and colouring with a special "treasure map".
