Van Beets Working and Learning

Van Beets Groengroep is the landscaping and tree care company operating in Leeuwarden and the surrounding area since 2010. We have grown into an all-round green partner for construction, maintenance and preservation of the outdoor area around business premises, schools, homes or institutions.
As a Social Enterprise, we combine craftsmanship with social commitment. Besides our regular green business with experienced employees, we have set up the Working & Learning Foundation for people with a distance to the labour market.
Our guiding principle is simple: we create an environment where everyone can learn and grow to their own potential. For our participants, we are there, completely and unconditionally. Quality and care go hand in hand with us - all work is carried out by or under the direct supervision of experienced gardeners.
What starts with our participants grows into much more. We like to share the methods that work with us with other organisations and sectors. We call this practical idealism: starting with concrete people you know and cherish, but with the ambition to grow those experiences into change that helps many more people.
