The Zonnebloem de Stiens e.o.

The Zonnebloem section Stiens and surrounding areas (including Finkum, Hijum, Britsum, Cornjum and Jelsum) has been very active for many years.
The activities are designed for participants with physical disabilities, which make it difficult or impossible for them to leave their homes.
A visit to the garden centre, dinner together or a bus trip have been a regular item on the calendar all these years.
Activities, outings, social afternoons and home visits are organised by a team of enthusiastic volunteers.
To continue doing this wonderful work for our fellow human beings, we are urgently looking for new volunteers.
