Tryater

Tryater is Fryslân's multilingual theatre company and is part of the national basic cultural infrastructure. We perform over 270 large- and small-scale multilingual (in any case Frisian-Dutch) performances a year, for some 25,000 visitors: children, young people and adults. With Leeuwarden as our base, you can see us all over Friesland and beyond. In theatres and villages, in schools and on location. We bring new stories, close to the skin of our audience. With all the experience we have gained since our establishment in 1965 and with all the inspiration and energy of the young talent we work with.
