Allowances for volunteers.

For volunteers, (expense) allowances may apply. Do you volunteer or supervise volunteers yourself? Then it is useful to know about these. For example, about the volunteer, travel expenses or participation premium. Information on volunteer's allowance, expense allowance and travel allowance can be found here. 

Participation premium:
Do you receive benefits from the Municipality of Leeuwarden, are you older than 27 and younger than the AOW age and have been doing voluntary work for a long time or have you just found voluntary work? Then you may be entitled to the annual participation premium. You can have this assessed by Team Werk/Participation of the municipality of Leeuwarden. View the conditions here.

• Your name
• Your citizen service number
• Name of voluntary organisation
• Effective date of volunteering
• Work
• Number of hours per week
• To volunteer or not to volunteer
• The volunteer contract or a photo/copy thereof   
  Team Werk/Participatie will send you a message about whether or not you will be awarded the participation premium.
