ANBI status

An ANBI is a public benefit organisation. An institution can only be an ANBI if it is almost entirely dedicated to the common good. An ANBI foundation can have advantages. Associations (such as sports, staff, singing, harmony or drama associations) and hobby clubs are usually not ANBI. However, these institutions may be able to be considered socially beneficial institutions (SBBI). To be designated as an ANBI, an institution must meet a number of conditions.
