Assistant public relations officer (PR)

Description

The Grafisch Atelier Friesland is a unique workshop for visual artists and other printmaking enthusiasts. In the workshop, they can use the equipment and materials available. With our manager and two permanent volunteers, we are busy keeping the workshop running, which means we do not have the overview and time to devote to our PR.

For our PR, we use Facebook and instagram. For exhibitions, we do mailings, create posters and flyers.

What does the organisation offer the volunteer?

We offer a fun dynamic creative workshop where you will be in direct contact with artists and users of the GAF. As a volunteer, there is the option to join the various courses the GAF offers.

What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?

Can you handle PR for the courses and workshops offered by the studio? Are you great at recruiting through Social Media? Would you like to be involved in organising exhibitions? And do you enjoy being in contact with various artists? Then you are the person we are looking for!
