Bicycle mechanic

Wanted: BIKEMAKER

• Are you handy with technology and passionate about bikes? Then we are looking for you!
  We now have a team of two volunteer bike mechanics and a nice workshop with brand new tools.
  If you don't have that much experience in bike engineering yet, we would like to train you. They can teach you the intricacies of bike making.
• We at Iedereen Fietst refurbish bicycles and make them available to children and young people who are disadvantaged at home.

Own workshop
After consultation with the municipality and the AFAC, we have commissioned a workshop next to the AFAC. The orphan bikes and bikes cut away are brought here. If the bikes are not collected, they are given a new destination. We at Iedereen Fietst have a number of volunteers who refurbish these bikes and make them available for applications through the Leergeld Foundation or Stippejild of the municipality of Leeuwarden.

To work in the workshop, we have invested in a tool cart, a workbench, a bicycle repair stand and 2 pulleys to hang bikes from.

We believe in a bike for everyone.
The project IedereenFietst is one of the cycling projects of the foundation Fietsen Alle Jaren Fryslân. The foundation aims to make cycling in any way possible for young and old.
