Board member Wild Neighbourhood

Board member Wild Neighbourhood

Description

We are looking for a new enthusiastic board member to complement the current board of our welfare organisation Wilde Wijk. You enjoy thinking about the development and implementation of our initiatives and ensuring that our objectives are met. As a board member, you will help give direction and direction to our organisation. You will be responsible for one of the main lines and focus on its content development.

What does the organisation offer the volunteer?

Wilde Wijk is a cultural meeting place in Huizum-West to connect residents through socio-cultural activities. Besides a challenging, versatile job, you get the opportunity to contribute socially and be active. You can follow relevant training (via Keunstwurk and Amaryllis). The board of the foundation meets once every 5 weeks for meetings. In between, we keep in regular contact via visit, app and email.

What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?

You are a social board member joining our board. Experience of board work is a plus. We ask for a committed attitude and affinity with welfare work and socio-cultural activities (amateur art and community art). You have a broad network and can lobby. You have a feeling for local (neighbourhood) developments and know what is going on among local residents. Take a look at our promotional video on the website!
