Centipede for Storytelling House-RBC (storytelling house coordinator)

The Storytelling House-RBC is an initiative of the RBC Homework Institute because we experience first-hand how little and poorly children read (comprehensively).

We are looking for someone to make the Storytelling House-RBC better known among the target groups: care homes, day-care centres, primary schools, BSO, playgroups, libraries, etc. You will therefore have many contacts with these target groups to promote the Storytelling House.

It is a fun varied volunteer position. You come into contact with many people

Required skills and qualifications:

• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Organisational ability to plan and coordinate read-aloud activities.
• Proactive work attitude and able to work independently.
• Affinity with storytelling, culture or community work is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of social media and other communication channels (for event promotion) is a plus.
• Time commitment: Time commitment depends on the number of activities, but a flexible commitment of 4-8 hours per week is an indication. Your workplace will be at the RBC Homework Institute in Leeuwarden

As a Storytelling House coordinator, you will be a key figure in creating a space where stories can flourish and where people can meet each other
