Bike buddy for the duo bike

Duo cycling buddies wanted.

For the location, Kleinschalig Wonen Bilgaard, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy cycling together with a resident on the duo-bike.

ksw Bilgaard has eight different homes in which six residents live. Every resident is different and so are our target groups. Three different target groups live at ksw Bilgaard: residents with dementia, residents with a mental disability and people with mental health problems.

Within our location, there are a number of residents who enjoy cycling with regularity. We have an electric duo-bike. ksw Bilgaard is located at the edge of the city. Sometimes a resident likes to cycle through the city and other times he wants to cycle along the Leeuwarder forest. When cycling, it's mainly about sociability, taking the time. Just getting outside and the wind through your hair.

We offer a fun and pleasant working atmosphere. You will be properly trained. You will not go out with a resident until you have a good understanding of how the bicycle works.

You interact well with our target group. You have a good overview of traffic and know the traffic rules. Command of the Dutch language is an advantage because we work with a vulnerable group.
