You like delicious meals and nice smells in the kitchen. Cooking is your hobby or talent. Would you also like to share your cooking skills with our residents at De Marene care home? Then we are looking for you!

About Zorgopvang de Marene
Care home De Marene is a beautiful newly built location in the green Potmarge area in Leeuwarden. There is room for 52 people who do not feel at home in a regular residential care centre. Our adult residents are of all ages and face multiple problems. Day care is an important part of our residents' lives.

About Wender
In the lives of the people we work with, there is often a lot going on. Homelessness. Domestic violence. Addiction. Psychological problems. Debts. Then it's a struggle to get through each day safely. We provide safe shelter, rest and structure. That gives space to give life a positive turn and work towards a better future. No matter how difficult that is sometimes. We are there for them. You help think up meals, do the shopping together with residents, help prepare and cook. Afterwards, you will of course enjoy the home-cooked meal together with the entire residential group. And you help with cleaning up...

• Can maintain overview and work in an orderly manner.
• Enjoys helping others and learning new skills.
• Has a healthy dose of humour.
• Affinity with our special target group.
