Experience walk-in supervisors for Saturdays
Description
For the Practice House in Leeuwarden, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to work at Saturday want to supervise the walk-in.
As a drop-in volunteer, you guide visitors with psychological vulnerabilities who come to Het Praktijkhuis on the basis of your experiential expertise. The visitors may need a listening ear, a conversation or just a safe place to be themselves for a while. You can also have individual conversations, but even more often the conversations just take place at the table. You guide the visitors in taking steps by means of a counselling plan and thereby gain more insight into themselves. Of course, Ixta Noa supports you in this process. After all, working at Ixta Noa is above all working on yourself! In addition, you always accompany the drop-in with another volunteer. As a drop-in volunteer, you also have administrative and household tasks. You also have the opportunity to help organise creative afternoons, theme meetings or other activities.
It is important that you are an expert by experience in the field of mental vulnerability and that you are not much hindered by it now. After all, you are going to guide others from your experience and then insight and being able to set a good example is very important.
Before you become a drop-in volunteer, you first spend at least 10 half-days at The Practice House. You follow Ixta Noa's basic training to learn more about using your expertise by experience. You then follow the walk-in training.
If this vacancy appeals to you then you can apply to become a volunteer via the registration form. If you would like more information about the vacancy or about Ixta Noa, please email: leeuwarden@ixtanoa.nl / call 06-27382650 / Or send your question via a whatssap message!
