Facilities assistant (cleaning) twice a week

Within the DOAS incubator , at 48 Cornelis Troost straat , we are looking for a volunteer to assist in cleaning the building at least twice a week. Sweeping corridors, mopping with a mop machine, keeping toilets clean, refilling paper rolls, etc.. possibly reporting faults so they can be solved. Vacuuming offices. There may be a supplement from Werkpro of people who come for work-based day care. This is not always structural. You receive support, instruction, from a work supervisor.

For us, it is important that someone can be present for at least 2 days (or parts of the day). Hours can also be spread over different days, for example. In short, the hours can be arranged in consultation.

It is a vibrant environment of arts, culture, crafts and neighbourhood business.

• For the volunteer, after a trial period from both sides, a volunteer allowance is available. This is based on the maximum rates as set by the municipality and on the number of hours.
• There is a fixed point of contact for the volunteer. Regular consultations are held.
• The volunteer can have a free lunch ( eat what's on the plate) on the days he/she is present
• The volunteer has more or less "help" from participants working in the framework of work-based day care
• Educational or training opportunities are available from Werkpro

• We are looking for someone who can work at fixed times at least twice a week.
• We are looking for someone who can independently pick up the jobs as they come.
• Times and parts of the day are negotiable.
• Some experience , or the commitment to learn, is essential.
• The candidate is expected to be able to keep an overview. The volunteer can always come to the supervision with questions, which is a regular person who also discusses the appointments
