Helping victims starts with your listening ear
Team Active Approach:
- Calling people who have just experienced a crime, calamity or road accident;
- Offering a listening ear while analysing what help they need;
- You then transfer the victims to the appropriate service within SHN or to a cooperation partner outside Slachtofferhulp Nederland.
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
- A training course at the Victim Support Academy in Utrecht
- A mentor in the workplace
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
- That you want to commit to the organisation for a minimum of one year
- That you are willing to attend training courses
- That we can rely on you
- That you are employable for a minimum of 6 to 8 hours per week
- HBO work and thinking level
- Speaking and writing Dutch is a requirement
