Fishing buddy

For the Location Kleinschalig Wonen Bilgaard, we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who likes to go fishing with a resident.

At the Kwadrant Group, Wellbeing comes first, we strive to give the resident the best possible day, and of course we do this together with family, volunteers and staff. Kleinschalig wonen has eight different homes housing six residents. We work with three different target groups: residents with dementia, residents with a mental disability and people with mental health problems. Bilgaard Kleinschalig Wonen is located between the Leeuwarder Bos and shopping centre Bilgaard.

Close to the site, fishing can be enjoyed on the little bridge. An outdoor fishing activity does a lot for a resident. In the beginning, you will be supervised and later it will be your own activity but you can always fall back on a staff member. Does this appeal to you? A committed volunteer who understands fishing and can therefore properly guide the resident while fishing.

Because having a chat while fishing can also be pleasant, it is nice if you can be a good listener.
