Do you get happy redecorating and painting things? Are you handy with brush and brush? And do you love putting things back in paint and varnish?

Then we are looking for you!

On our beautiful grounds in the greenery are two old farm sheds and a log cabin. These buildings are our meeting places, where we gather, where meetings are held, creativity is done and music is made. These warmer months, these buildings are in need of a lick of paint. Are you the (hobby) painter who wants to contribute to this?

Duties include:
Sanding and possibly filling the wood;
Painting woodwork and window frames in farmhouse, workshop and log cabin.

Permaculture Friesland Foundation is Leeuwarden's cosiest volunteer organisation in green. We have 2 locations: Oerfloed and Frijlan. A place where you can be yourself and are seen for your qualities. We start the day with coffee, tea and a chat. Then we get to work. If you can start later, that's no problem at all. It is important to us that the work suits you and that you can do what you are good at. Do you want to learn things? You can do that too! We teach you more about permaculture on the job and offer internal workshops and training courses. Several times a year, we organise a fun activity and, as a volunteer, you can use the kitchenette! In the coming years, we will work towards a volunteer allowance.
