Stewards (m/f) at SC Cambuur home and away matches

At SC Cambuur, we are looking for enthusiastic stewards to join our team at home and away matches. You are the first point of contact for supporters and the business card of our club.

You start matchday with a consultation on what awaits you that night. What are the particulars and possible scenarios? Then you and your colleagues are ready to welcome the supporters in a hospitable way and guide them to the right boxes. You visit/search visitors. During the match, you stand around the pitch to supervise and recognise any incidents early and solve them in a calm manner. An evening at Cambuur should be a pleasant and safe experience for everyone, and it's up to you and your fellow stewards to ensure this. At the end of the match, you meet with colleagues to evaluate the match.

Besides a unique working environment to gain relevant work experience, SC Cambuur provides courses and training to become a steward. In addition, you will receive your own work clothes, you are welcome at the annual volunteers' evening and you will receive a volunteer's allowance per match. And of course the chance to watch all the matches of the most beautiful club in the Netherlands up close.

We are looking for stewards who:

• Be at least 18 years old;
• Live in Leeuwarden or nearby;
• Be available for all SC Cambuur home games and willing to go along to SC Cambuur away games (i.e. be available on weekends and evenings);
• Being of impeccable character;
• Being customer-friendly and service-oriented;
• Be able to act confidently and decisively;
• Have good communication and social skills;
• Willing to attend training/courses;
• Want to attend instruction and evaluation evenings
