Treasurer for Zonnebloem ward Leeuwarden

Zonnebloem team in Leeuwarden seeks enthusiastic addition in the form of a treasurer! 

From Zonnebloem Leeuwarden, we ensure that our volunteers can do Zonnebloem work in the various city districts and Stiens. We offer them the opportunity to organise activities and home visits. We also provide exchanges and workshops, among other things. Together, we try to create the preconditions for volunteers to do what they are good at: organising home visits and activities for people with physical disabilities, such as a music afternoon, museum visit or dinner. 

The function of treasurer is twofold; on the one hand, keeping financial records using AFAS. You regularly book income and expenditure and, in consultation with the local coordinators and fellow board members, draw up a budget and annual accounts. In addition, you think along where necessary to put the Zonnebloem even more on the map. 

We offer varied and challenging volunteer work in a changing organisation. If you live in the North Friesland region, including outside Leeuwarden, you are welcome to apply! By joining our team in Leeuwarden, you ensure that our volunteers do what they do best: work for our participants! 

You will have the opportunity to learn about our association through workshops and an introductory period. You will mainly work from home and visit coordinators locally when necessary. There is regular ovelegation with your fellow board members in or near Leeuwarden. 

We are looking for someone who mainly wants to be involved behind the scenes. Do you have experience with (financial) administration and accounting systems such as AFAS? Do you enjoy keeping the (financial) administration in order for the team in Leeuwarden? Or do you like to arrange everything? And are you available occasionally or regularly? We would like to discuss your wishes and possibilities. So that together we can make more possible!
