Treasurer for the North Friesland regional board

Region team seeks enthusiastic addition in the form of a treasurer! 

From the regional Zonnebloem North Friesland branch, we voluntarily support our 12 local branches. As a regional team, we organise regional exchanges and workshops, among other things. We also support the local boards to organise the Zonnebloem work as well as possible. Together, we try to create the framework conditions for the local chapters to do what they do best: organising home visits and activities for people with physical disabilities, such as music afternoons, museum visits or dinners. We are currently working on a structural change in which, within a few years, the departments will operate at municipal level. 

The job of regional treasurer is therefore twofold; on the one hand, keeping (small) financial records in our own accounting system. You regularly record income and expenditure and, in consultation with the fellow board members, draw up a budget and annual accounts. In addition, you think along where necessary and support our local boards in the transition to working at municipal level. 

We offer varied and challenging volunteer work in a changing organisation. If you live in the North Friesland region, including outside Leeuwarden, you are welcome to apply! By joining our regional team, you ensure that our volunteers do what they do best: work for our participants! 

You will have the opportunity to get acquainted with our association through workshops and an introductory period. You will mainly work from home and, where necessary, visit chapters in the region. There will be regular ovelegations with your fellow board members in or near Leeuwarden. 

We are looking for contact with someone who wants to be mainly involved behind the scenes. Do you have experience with (financial) administration? Would you like to keep the (financial) administration of the regional team in order and could you support other volunteers? Or do you like to arrange everything? And are you available occasionally or regularly? We would like to discuss your wishes and possibilities. So that together we can make more possible!
