'Grey area of care' volunteer
Description
For our 'Grey Area of Care' project, we are looking for volunteers who would like to engage with the older target group within the Bilgaard neighbourhood. This project is part of Lab Noord and the need for this project has increased within the neighbourhood. We work together with various organisations such as Social District Team Noord and Thuiszorg Het Friese Land. As a volunteer within the 'Grey area of care', you are involved in the social functioning of the neighbourhood resident(s) and broaden their social network. Activities you can think of are: - Encouraging exercise, by taking a walk. - Keeping the resident(s) company. This by playing a game, thinking up activities to do with the resident. - Small household tasks; for example, doing the shopping, preparing meals, tidying cupboards or washing windows.
