Group chores supervisor
Description
We are looking for (several) group facilitators for the coming period.
Stichting Present Leeuwarden brings (groups of) people who want to help into contact with people who need this help. When executing the request for help, these people/volunteers are guided. For this, we are looking for people who like to carry out this guidance. You can do the intake (project visit) of a request for help yourself. You get to know the person seeking help and his/her situation, as well as the care worker involved. You take stock of what needs to be done and make the necessary arrangements.
Our preference is for the person doing the project visit to be the same person who accompanies the group of volunteers during the project day. That way, you are a familiar face to the aid applicant and are familiar with the situation. This part is always in consultation, where we look at your possibilities and your available time.
On the project day itself, you will supervise a group of volunteers by starting and closing a project. During the project day, you are available on mobile phone for questions and or emergencies and do not have to be present during the entire project. You contribute to a valuable respectful meeting during the project and supervise the introduction. You also help ensure that the agreements prepared and communicated beforehand during a project visit (intake) are clear to everyone. Sometimes you just 'break the ice' at the first meeting or help things along. At the end of a project, you take care of the on-site evaluation with the volunteers and the person seeking help. After the project, you do the administrative closing in our Presents system and send a thank-you e-mail to the group.
A fun engaging position where people and meaningful encounters are key!
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?

We know where help is needed and ensure that everything is well organised and the voluntary effort, whether in someone's home or behind the scenes at the office, is meaningful and enjoyable.
Of course, you will receive training and guidance as a new group supervisor and use standard documents to make the process easier.
