Will you put our guests in the spotlight?

At Tresoar, we regularly organise activities in areas such as literature, history and music. These include lectures, courses and events. For such activities, we offer catering, ranging from serving coffee/tea and drinks to serving lunch or snacks.
 
You welcome our visitors at activities, possibly tell them about the programme and/or take care of catering. You enjoy working behind the bar and serving snacks in our cosy Kafee De Gouden Leeuw. At the end of the activity, you make sure the room is left tidy.

Tresoar offers volunteers a pleasant working environment, an enjoyable and useful way of spending time, social contacts, the opportunity to use their own qualities and talents and appreciation for the work carried out.

Volunteers are partly entitled to the same facilities as employees at Tresoar:
- Volunteers are invited to an annual activity.
- You will be invited to festive events (anniversaries, receptions, openings).
- You get a library borrower card.
- At the end of the year, you get a bonus.
- A travel allowance.
- Coffee and tea during the shift.

Who are you?
You are energetic, hospitable and know how to get things done. You like to think along and jump in where necessary. And you do all this with a big smile! In addition, you are flexible in terms of availability, as our activities can arise at short notice. Sometimes we ask you to help out in the afternoon and other times during evening activities. It is useful if you understand Frisian, as it is often spoken here.
