Door-to-door volunteers

Description
We are in the process of setting up BELCIRKELS in Leeuwarden. A BELCIRKEL is a group of people who prefer to live near each other and call each other regularly in a ringing round, to ask if the other is doing well or just for fun.
The task of the volunteer is to go door-to-door to people and tell them about foundation Hobby om de Hoek and in particular about the BELCIRKEL. You will wear a T-shirt of Hobby around the Corner (see attached photo) and you will be given a flyer and pen and paper.
If you would like to help us and do have a few hours to spare now and then, please sign up.
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
We don't have much to offer you initially. We are looking for people who want to help us bring elderly people in particular back into society. What we ask of you is that you have a heart for the elderly. I can tell you, if you succeed in connecting people, that is the best reward you can get!
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
We ask for a few hours of your time. We ask for commitment to the target group. You will receive short training on how to present yourself at the door.
