Klusbus 65+ is looking for a volunteer to carry out small jobs in donors' homes

Klusbus 65+ is looking for a volunteer to carry out small chores in the homes of donors. These donors are over 65 and find it difficult to carry out the chores themselves. These include, for example, windows that do not close properly, fitting curtain rails, replacing a broken lamp, hanging a painting or installing a television.

As a volunteer, you will have a rotating 1-week shift on working days from Monday to Friday and be available from 9:00 to 16:00. On average, you will have about 10 chores in such a week. Each job takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. You can use a company car with tools. The working area is Leeuwarden (including South), Lekkum, Snakkeburen and Goutum.

Besides the chores, having a chat with the person you are doing the job for is very important.

You are a handy handyman in possession of driving licence B and enjoy doing something for others. You get on well with older people and enjoy having a chat with them.

You will be part of an enthusiastic group of about 9 volunteers.
