Members Client Council GGZ Friesland

Members Client Council GGZ Friesland

Description

We are a group of enthusiastic and passionate volunteers, all clients or former clients of GGZ Friesland. As a client council (CR), we stand up for the interests of clients within this organisation. We do this by giving advice and discussing policy changes from the client's point of view. In doing so, we use our own experience and information we gather during, for example, ward visits and residents' and participants' meetings.

What can you expect?

  • Consultations with fellow client council members among themselves, as well as with board members and the Executive Board
  • Engaging with clients during ward visits, resident and participant meetings and mirror discussions
  • Writing a report/report on your findings and deciding what steps can be taken to improve care
  • Discuss retrieved information with practitioners, managers and management
  • Joining various projects and working groups, e.g. on the new building or smoking policy
  • Reading papers and advising on policy
  • Collaborating with fellow councillors, you will almost always go out together
  • Participating in trainings and courses, for example on the Client Participation in Care Act (WMCZ) or on communication and interaction skills

Although we are one group, the client council is divided into three divisions that meet separately. When you come to meet us, together we can see which division suits you best: division 1 (Recovery & Treatment, Van Andel), division 2 (Treatment and Healing, Urgent and Intensive, Kinnik and the Young Adult Circuit) or division MindUp (Living and Reactivation). This way, you can immerse yourself in the divisions you find interesting. In addition, you can join the policy committee and/or the PR group. Together, we make sure that everyone does the tasks that suit everyone's qualities, preferences and employability as much as possible.

Do you think it would be fun and valuable to become a member?

For more information or for a no-obligation introductory meeting, we can be reached by phone at 058-2848633 or you can email to clientenraad@ggzfriesland.nl
